History of race

Brighton's oldest 10K race - relaunch, restart, reset

The Brighton 10k is one of the South East's longest running 10k road race and the oldest 10k in Brighton and Hove.

Established by Brighton and Hove Athletics Club in 1984. Olympic athlete, Chris Carter, set it up to promote running and fitness, and to raise funds for the club and local charities.

Money raised for the club has funded athlete development, coaching and travel - supporting club members to participate at a national championship level.
