Registration closed on 31st October 2019. We do not accept entries on the day. We will be opening registration for 2019 with early bird prices – the link will be up shortly after race day  


Registration for public sales will close when the race sells-out. Only charity places will be available after this date. 

As per our T&C’s when you sign up, we are unable to offer refunds. 

Your entry fee is invested in the cost of staging the event, and the main costs to contractors, suppliers, administration etc. are already committed well before race day. 

We also cannot defer registrations to another year.  

However we do understand circumstance change so are able to allow transfers of your place for a fee of £3.00 until 31st October 2019. 



All participants must be 17 years old or over on the day of the race. This age limit is set by England Athletics and is a condition of our race insurance. 

Yes, you can.  Although as you have an international address you will need to collect your race pack from the race village on morning of race.  Please allow enough time in the morning of race day to do this. Maderia Drive, Brighton BN2 1PS on Sunday 18th November 2018 between 07:30- 08:45am. 

It is your responsibility to keep your address updated if you move. Your race entry fee only covers one race pack, one timing chip and one postage. After 31st October the data will be processed so no further self edit changes can be permitted. Please contact us at ASAP if you need update your address after this date. If we don’t have the correct address for posting your race pack you will need to collect a new race pack on the morning of the race and the cost for this is £5.00. Please make every effort to retrieve your race pack from your previous address to avoid this charge. 

To be guaranteed postal delivery you need to be entered by 31st October 2019. Anyone who entered after this date will need to collect their race pack on race day from the information tent, Maderia Drive, Brighton BN2 1PS on Sunday 17th November between 07:30 – 08:45am. 

If you entered before 31st October you will receive your race pack the week commencing 4th November. Please be aware not all packs arrive on the same day! If you haven’t received your pack by Monday 11th November please email us at info@the

The roads are closed for the race. We have qualified security and stewards to assist with managing the traffic,  pedestrians and crowd control. 

The start will be separated into anticipated race finish times. Please be realistic and don’t put yourself at the front unless you are very fast! We want everyone to enjoy the race so please go to the timing area indicated. All runners are chip timed and this isn’t activated until you cross the line so you can still achieve your PB even if you start near the back. 

Parking is only allowed for blue badge holders on Madeira Drive. There are ample pay and display parking on Marine Parade and in the side streets to the north of the seafront. The further north you go the cheaper it becomes. Brighton Marina have requested that Brighton 10k runners do not park in the Marina carpark. The nearest train station in Brighton National Rail station. There are no anticipated engineering works on the day but please check before you travel! 

‘Afraid not! This is a fast, flat, (and fun!) road race – but no animals, wheels or under 17 year olds can participate.
