The race starts at 09.30am on 17th November 2019
Location: Madeira Drive, Brighton BN1 1PS
The finish is in the same place and direction as the starting line. Please keep moving after you cross the finish line to collect your medal, water and banana.
The race number contains your timing chip and must be fixed to the front of your vest above waist level. It should not be cut, folded or altered in anyway. Any runner not wearing a clearly visible number on their front will not be allowed across the finish line and will not be recorded or receive a medal. Deviation from this contravenes the UK Athletics Road Race Regulations and will result in the disqualification of the runner.
Numbers will carry a different colour to indicate anticipated race finish time.
There will be a clock mounted on the gantry to record your finish time.
To ensure your time is recorded accurately by your timing chip, please ensure you cross both the start and finish line only once. If you do not cross the line your chip will not be activated and you time will not be recorded. If you registered your mobile number when you entered you will be sent your race time immediately after you finish.
If you forget your number and chip you will be charged £5 for a replacement.
Members of affiliated clubs should wear their First Claim Club vest.
Parking is only allowed for blue badge holders on Madeira Drive. There are ample pay and display parking on Marine Parade and in the side streets to the north of the seafront. The further north you go go the less expensive parking fees are. Brighton Marina have requested that participants in the race do not park in the Marina carpark.
Madeira Drive is closed from 06:30 until 13:00 for the race village to be set up and dismantled. The A259 westbound from Aquarium roundabout to the King Alfred is closed between 7:00 – 12:0
